I have 2 Twitter accounts that I knew I had duplicates but wasn’t sure of an easy way to fix this, especially as both accounts have over 800 followers.
Found this Tool which does exactly that: TweepDiff
It allows you to enter two or more Twitter users to compare who your are following and/or your followers.
The results are just a list but I saved this into a spreadsheet, so I could do more sorting.
The death of Osama Bin Laden was one of the most tweeted events in history — and generated the highest sustained rate of tweets ever.
That was 12.4 Million Tweets an Hour or 4,000 tweets a second!
However, the record for most tweets sent in the same second is still 6,939 — which happened during the most recent New Year in Japan.

Not something you want to do a lot but I sent-up an account for something that I never got around to doing.
Not that obvious - no surprise there:
> Login to Twitter
> Drop down arrow on account name (top right corner)
> Settings
> Account tab (defaults for this as the first tab)
> At very bottom of this page, under the Save button > Deactivate my account
